By creating an account, subscribing, or using Brainteaser, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2.1 General Use

You must be at least 13 years old to use Brainteaser.

2.2 Competitive Elimination Mode

Participation in daily elimination competitions is strictly limited to users aged 18 years or older.

By registering, you confirm that all information provided, including your date of birth, is accurate. We reserve the right to verify age and restrict or terminate access where necessary.

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorised access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.

4.1 Paid Access

Brainteaser operates as a paid subscription service. Access to certain features requires an active subscription.

4.2 Billing

By subscribing, you authorise us or our payment partners to charge applicable fees.

Subscription fees:

  • Are billed in advance
  • May be recurring unless cancelled
  • May change with prior notice

4.3 Failed Payments

If payment fails or is declined, access may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

4.4 Refunds

All payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law or explicitly stated otherwise.

Self-study features are provided for educational practice and performance tracking. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee exam outcomes, results, or academic success.

Users are responsible for how they use study materials.

6.1 Competition Structure

Competition formats, rules, and progression may vary and are determined solely by Brainteaser.

6.2 Participation Requirements

To participate, users must:

  • Hold an active subscription
  • Meet age requirements
  • Follow all competition rules
  • Provide accurate information

6.3 Fair Play

Users must not:

  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
  • Collaborate unfairly
  • Attempt to manipulate results
  • Exploit technical errors

We reserve the right to disqualify participants who violate fair play rules.

6.4 Competition Decisions

All competition outcomes, rankings, eliminations, and results are final.

All content on Brainteaser, including questions, graphics, software, branding, and design, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy or reproduce content
  • Distribute materials
  • Reverse engineer the Platform
  • Use content commercially without permission

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with system security
  • Attempt unauthorised access
  • Upload harmful or malicious code
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity

Violation may result in suspension or termination.

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if users:

  • Violate these Terms/Policies
  • Provide false information
  • Engage in misconduct or fraud
  • Disrupt platform operations

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary.

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without liability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brainteaser shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Service interruptions
  • Competition outcomes
  • User errors or misuse

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold Brainteaser harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Breach of applicable laws

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy and Competition Policies.

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date.

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Nigerian Law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
